Hello from Japan and welcome to our shop.
This bag is handmaded by traditional Japanese craft technique called "Ikkanbari".
Ikkanbari craft involves using paper or cloth to make a variety of objects, such as boxes, trays, and baskets.
The technique involves wetting the paper or cloth and then shaping it over a mold or frame to create the desired form.
The wet material is then left to dry, which hardens it into a sturdy and durable object.

This Ikkanbari has a nice painting of camellia flowers.
Camellia is a flower native to Japan.
The flower language of camellia means modest kindness and pride.

///Additional information of Ikkanbari///
The term "ikkanbari" translates to "layered paper" in Japanese, and the craft has been practiced in Japan for hundreds of years.
Originally, ikkanbari was used to create everyday objects like bowls and buckets, as well as more specialized items like armor and lanterns.
Today, ikkanbari is still practiced in Japan, but it has also gained popularity around the world as a unique and eco-friendly form of art and craft.
